Born in Southern California, Tiffany moved to Boulder, Colo. when she was just 14. After finishing her undergraduate degree at The Colorado College, Tiffany set off for Chicago in search of big city fun.
But the mountains called her back, and so did journalism. In May 2009 Tiffany earned her Master's in Journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder, with an emphasis on food systems and the environment. (Stay tuned for publication of her final project on the carbon footprint of tofu.) She also keeps a blog on the vegetarian life, including recipes...she would love it if you wanted to submit your own!
Previous work has included writing for the Web, marketing campaigns, and freelance magazine pieces. For five years she worked at The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, and loved learning about dinosaurs, ancient rocks, and new species of shrews. She currently also writes for Ideal Bite in Chicago, helping everyday citizens be more green. Despite the tenets of AP Style, she also really enjoys the serial comma.
In her spare time Tiffany enjoys playing kickball in Boulder, hanging out with her boyfriend Roy and her cat Little, and is trying to become a runner.
